The Dark Horse Bar and Restaurant is one of Athlone’s favourite destinations for food, drink and having a great time with friends. We love having the place buzzing with happy customers so the hard work we put in in the kitchen and behind the bar all worth it.
Great Atmosphere
The Dark Horse is a great place for dropping in for a casual drink with friends or going out for the night. We have live music and other events at weekends to get the crowd going though the great atmosphere at night makes for a fun evening any day of the week. We also have large rentable spaces and easy-to-section-off spaces which make it the perfect location for birthday, hen, Christmas or any other kind of party you want to hold.
