Special occasions
While our standard menu has a range of staples to suit every table we also want to take our customers on culinary adventures. Our contribution to offering something different when it comes to dining in Athlone are the special occasions where the calendar or our chefs’ burning desire to do something wild warrants a whole new menu.
We’ve had a huge range of different dining experiences over the past while including an Asian fusion takeover, a sushi takeover and a special spicy takeover for Mexican Independence Day. We’ll be doing plenty more in the future so check in to see what’s coming up. There are some staples though including our margaritas, mole and more Mexicana for Cinco de Mayo as well as our tribute to the Dark Horse’s favourite American for 4th of July, where we load up on the burgers, hot dogs and various other weird stuff that they love in the States.
Groups
If you’re joining us as a large group for a Christmas party, staff night out, hen or stag we also offer a special set menu you can pick from to make sure you’re sorted out for food and drinks as soon as possible. Get in touch with us beforehand to see what our special group menu is so the group can have their minds set and their appetites whetted before they even get in the door.
Of course we also offer outdoor dining and a whole range of drink options to go with your meal, be it a special event or not, we try to make sure getting food in Athlone is always worth going out for.
